ANTLERS LODGE, Cooke City

Antlers Lodge provides log cabins and motel rooms. Cabins accommodate groups of two to six people and include options with or without kitchens. Each log cabin has bed sizes numbering up to three beds. All cabins and rooms feature full bathrooms with showers, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi. Cabins come with bedding, linens, towels, dishes, silverware, and cookware. Kitchens include a stove with oven, refrigerator, kitchen sink, toaster, coffee maker, and dish soap. Housekeeping services are provided daily with beds made, towels replaced, and trash emptied. Some cabins have mini-fridges, microwaves, and gas fireplaces. Specific cabins offer lofts and living areas. Motel rooms feature two queen beds with pillow-top mattresses, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, toiletries, and hairdryers. A fully compliant ADA room is available.

The Antlers Bar and Restaurant is open seasonally from mid-December through April 1st, serving breakfast and dinner. The menu includes options like Philly cheese steak, burgers, and pizza. The facility offers 15 Montana craft beers on tap, along with domestic selections. Guests can dine in the dining room or enjoy a beer. A coffee shop near the Lodge serves Italian sandwiches, sausage burritos, breakfast sandwiches, and garden salads, plus banana bread with chocolate chips.

Antlers Lodge provides year-round guest services. Winter activities include snowmobiling, backcountry skiing, and cross-country skiing. Snow West Magazine rates the snowmobiling as a top choice in the Western United States. Yellowstone National Park offers opportunities for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and wildlife photography. A stone fireplace is available in the main lodge. Summer activities include hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, and animal watching. There are hiking trails, ATV trails, and ski trails available near the Lodge. The Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, features five museums about the Wild West and Native Americans. Hunting is permitted in the nearby Gallatin National Forest. Fly fishing is available in Yellowstone, with cutthroat trout as the local fish. Mammoth Hot Springs provides geological formations.

Antlers Lodge is located on Main Street [US Hwy 212] in Cooke City, Montana, four miles east of the northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The Beartooth Mountains are nearby. Yellowstone Regional is 100 km from Antlers Lodge. Cooke City has two gas stations, around seven lodging facilities, five or six restaurants, and a couple of gift shops. The Lodge can be accessed through the Northeast Entrance of Yellowstone National Park or via the East Entrance by taking the Chief Joseph Highway. Beartooth Highway offers scenic views. Landmarks nearby include Yellowstone Trading Post (0.3 km), Clay Butte Fire Lookout Tower (1 km), Cooke City Montana Museum (0.5 km), F.J. Williams Primitive Western Art Gallery (0.5 km), Colter Pass (3 km), and Woody Ridge (2 km).

Antlers Lodge's office is open from 8 am to 9 pm daily, both summer and winter. Wi-Fi is complimentary. Picnic tables are available. Dog are allowed, with an additional nightly charge of $10 per pet, up to 3 total, although service dogs are welcome at no charge. Big game hunting opportunities include elk, moose, bear, and wolf, with experienced outfitters available. Guests can explore the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming, and see the gun collection, paintings, and horseback riding. Services at the lodge include daily housekeeping.
